Tower Homes is the Government’s zone agent for south London administering the Key Worker Living scheme that offers a range of affordable housing solutions to key workers.
Tower Homes was the first home ownership association to be awarded the Charter Mark for excellence in customer service and has recently received the award for the third time. We have won 18 major design awards including the Evening Standard and What House awards. Tower is part of the L&Q Group, one of the largest providers of affordable rent homes, managing over 43,000 homes in London and the South East.

Intermediate Market Rent (IMR) gives key workers the opportunity to rent high quality homes at below market rents. Rents are typically 60-80% of local market rents and are set at levels that are affordable to key workers. IMR homes are generally one and two bedroomed self-contained apartments, built to the same standards and specification as Tower's shared ownership homes. The Housing Corporation determine which categories of key workers are eligible for intermediate renting and the local Zone Agent assesses the eligibility of applicants. Tower has a portfolio of 400 IMR homes in management and development and sees IMR as an increasingly important aspect of it work. Tower offers key workers a choice of shared ownership, rent and equity loan products.
